Trough belt conveyors are used to transport fines, glass, shredded paper, broke, trim, broke and aggregates because their trough-shaped belt ensures the materials are contained on the belt as they are transported.
The trough shape is created by the U-shaped roller sets supporting the belt and the angle of the trough can be altered by choosing varying angled roller sets.
